So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I do not have Monday off.

Me neither.

(eta: Presidents suck anyway.)

At least my commute will be easier....

THAT'S IT. I'm taking tomorrow off.

I am filled with hate for this place (the physical placeness of it) and I am done fighting the hordes of people who are here to see a golf tournament for parking. (The school lets people park on the campus for the golf tournament at $20 a car.... each day I have come this week, I get harrassed at the gate by one of the fucking aides. I'm done).

sigh. The crank meter got turned up to 11.

I thought that you should take acetominphen to bring down a fever.

My ER nurse friend told me that if you can safely take both, alternate them to break the fever faster. Though hospitals tend to give acetaminophin alone because almost no one has a bad reaction to it at recommended dosages.

Happy Anniversary Deena and DH!

My own Valentine mission was successful. Ms. Havisham is working from home this week on freelance stuff so when she left the house for 15 minutes today to pick something up, I sprang into action and managed to get everything in place in time. Flowers and card were displayed and I was hidden around the corner when she got home. Smooches were to be had upon the successful completion of the mission...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, I never would have believed we'd be so opposite!

I guess we won't have to fight over things...?

I am super glad to have Monday off! What I should really do is plan a vacation.

Timelies!

I also do not have Monday off.

grumble grumble

I can't complain too much I guess, since we get just about every other possible holiday off (exc. Columbus Day and Patriot's Day), and when we lost those 3 we got personal days. Don't mind working President's Day that much, aside from the abreviated commuter train schedule.

Jesse, come visit! Not really a glamorous vacation, but we'd like to see you.

Hmmm. Maybe... What about my lack of driving?
