We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

That's horrifying. And honestly, I'm just as horrified that they would release the video. That strikes me as incredibly disrespectful and voyeuristic.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

That's terrifying.

There's been lots of icy falling down, including Robert Gates who broke his shoulder when he slipped on the ice.

Moral of the story: winter folks, please be careful.

I've been reading the Smith Magazine 6-word stories. LOVE THEM.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

How am I supposed to get better when I don't sleep?

Exactly. I'm finding myself in the same boat. I hope you feel better soon, Burrell.

Yeesh, Natter's full of we icky folks today. Everybody needs to feel better soon.

I too am working from home. Between the ice storm and the inability to breathe, it seemed like a good plan.

Okay, everyone needs to STOP falling down and STOP getting sick. You're alarming me.

Dana is wise. Ack, Lisa!

Did you see that horrifying video on the news yesterday of the girl getting her bike off the rack?

Sweet Jesus. Her poor family.

Also, I had my free pancakes with Allyson last night. Made me so happy to have pancakes AND spend time with her. All of you should be jealous.

Also also, How happy am I that Uno won? And the fact that an Akita won the working group makes me happy.

One of my coworkers did the same thing you did, lisah. She didn't see the ice on her steps, slipped, grabbed the railing which was also iced and just slid down 10 stairs. Poor thing is very sore.

Ahrg. Something I was convinced was fucked up but everyone told me was not looks like it is. Or maybe it is something else. I don't know and I just would like to curl up and nap.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Last week's cold seems to be coming back for another round. If I'm not feeling better once I've got some food, fluids, and caffeine in me, I might call my doctor.

The woman next to me on the bus this a.m. was coughing up a storm. I did my best not to breathe her air.

didn't twist or break anything or pull my poor dog down with me but I have big bruises on my ass and ankle.

Lisa, my ass bruise twin! My ankle escaped unscathed and is now comforting your ankle.
