Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, and once I had to move to a different car of a train because of the incredibly strong poo smell. A lot of homeless people ride the Red line, because it's such a long line it gives them time to sleep between having to get off and change trains at the end of the line. Almost every Red line train that pulls into Howard has sleeping homeless people on it, so the CTA folk have to wake them up and get them off the train before the train can turn around to go South again.

No. No she is not. It was on the news because her family is suing the city. Seriously, it's horrid - you see her get off the bus and go around front and then....well, then you see what happens next. I was kind of shocked they even showed it.

That is so sad and scary. When I was living in Mpls, a bus I took a lot hit and killed a pedestrian in a crosswalk while the bus was turning - the driver was talking to a passenger and was distracted. This happened a block from my house.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

That's horrifying. And honestly, I'm just as horrified that they would release the video. That strikes me as incredibly disrespectful and voyeuristic.

That's terrifying.

There's been lots of icy falling down, including Robert Gates who broke his shoulder when he slipped on the ice.

Moral of the story: winter folks, please be careful.

I've been reading the Smith Magazine 6-word stories. LOVE THEM.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

How am I supposed to get better when I don't sleep?

Exactly. I'm finding myself in the same boat. I hope you feel better soon, Burrell.

Yeesh, Natter's full of we icky folks today. Everybody needs to feel better soon.

I too am working from home. Between the ice storm and the inability to breathe, it seemed like a good plan.

Okay, everyone needs to STOP falling down and STOP getting sick. You're alarming me.

Dana is wise. Ack, Lisa!

Did you see that horrifying video on the news yesterday of the girl getting her bike off the rack?

Sweet Jesus. Her poor family.

Also, I had my free pancakes with Allyson last night. Made me so happy to have pancakes AND spend time with her. All of you should be jealous.

Also also, How happy am I that Uno won? And the fact that an Akita won the working group makes me happy.
