Ice and cramps. FUN.

Actually, I was really lazy and sent an email into work saying I'd be late. And then let the rain and warming temps de-ice my car.

Didn't do anything for the cramps, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, now that the quote generator is back, the thread title is closer to the top of the page than it used to be. My brain is confused.

Yeah, mine too. It's like when I moved some work files around, and the folders weren't in the right spot on the screen anymore.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gronk.

I slept all day yesterday.

Like missed lunch and dinner checked the internet 3 or 4 times slept all day.

It's not making today look much more feasible. But I'll give it a good-faith shot.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I took generic Sominex last night. Now I feel all groggy. My brain feels sluggish, and so far the caffeine hasn't helped with that.

I don't think I've had Sominex before - is it normal to have a little Sominex hangover the next day?

is it normal to have a little Sominex hangover the next day?

Soxminex is basically Benedryl, so -- yes.

I hate today so much more than yesterday. I had no idea.

Punishingly Intricate

I started today by falling down my icy front stairs (my concrete front stairs). As I said at the time, "AIEEEEFUCK!"

I didn't twist or break anything or pull my poor dog down with me but I have big bruises on my ass and ankle. OW!

Fortunately the back of my house wasn't icy at all so I could walk the dog out that way and leave for work. I had to come to work today because I had a 9 am meeting with my boss which I thought was just going to be him checking in with how I was doing in general but actually was an extensive conversation about the exteremly rude programmer who is the main person I work with (who I know I've complained about at length here). Conversation included psychoanalyzing the him and his twin brother who also works here. Fascinating! My boss is concerned that programmer's rudeness will drive me away. And they want to keep me. Good to know!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, everyone needs to STOP falling down and STOP getting sick. You're alarming me.

I almost fell on the bus -- something I've never done. But somehow it must have caught me at exactly the wrong moment and I almost went crowd-surfing.

Also, someone smelled like poo. I'm hoping it isn't me. The cat wasn't very happy last night, and I had to keep my roommate from flipping out and finding an emergency clinic.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Last night a bus driver tried to warn me not to get too close to the bus until it came to a complete stop - he was a afraid the bus was gonna slide sideways into me as he was braking to a stop.

Also, I need boots with better traction. Now that there's a fresh layer of snow on everything, it's hard to tell if there's ice under the snow or not.
