Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

We have actual snow in New York! On the ground! And almost a whole day to enjoy it before it gets all mixified.

Punishingly Intricate

My 79-year-old mom is volunteering for Obama at the polls in Northern Virginia today.

My parents are also big supporters of him. And my Mom was excited to find out that the parents of my cousin's fiancee (for whom she hosted a shower this past weekend) are also. She'd kind of figured they were big Republicans because the parents of my cousin she is marrying are and they are v. wealthy Long Islanders. (relatedly, evidently Anna Wintour is a big friend of her family and Vera Wang is designing her wedding dress. just for her.)

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

fake? or not?

when i think of flickr, i think of youtube and how easy it is for people to randomly just surf to my pictures. i think it's one of the main reasons i haven't really used it. though if i do, i will probably end up friends and family locking it.

what's everyone eating for lunch? i'm completely at a loss. i might just go across the street and get some chili or their chicken and rice casserole. decisions, decisions.

Happy Birthday KristinT and Maria!!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

what's everyone eating for lunch?

Pad Thai TV dinner-ish thing (microwaved).

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I just had to staple my pants.

To your chair? To the table? To someone else's pants?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just had to staple my pants.

That's what she said!

Sorry. I swear that will stop being funny at some point.

Yep. Probably around the same time that lolcats stop being funny.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That's the kind of thing that just makes your day extra-special crappy, though. Like getting caught in the rain, or having some asshole almost hit your car.
