Happy birthday, Kristin-n-Maria!!
Natter 56: ...we need the writers.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
That Rockstar Curling thing sounds like something out of the Onion.
I heard about that on the radio this morning. The sports guy commented that he hoped the writers' strike was over.
I reviewed the Manga Bible already, but I have to hold onto the review for a little while longer because they asked no reviews be released before the release date.
The whole samurai shick is about the style, the approach of the character Jesus in this adaptation. Not that he whips out any katanas and goes all badass.
I thought of it as only an average adaptation. On the upside, it does spend a decent amount of time adapting the Acts of the Apostles and discusses the Letters, books that are usually overlooked. But it's adaptation of the Old Testament lacks context and hits too many things too briefly. Israeli and the Jews go from being the favored people and nation, to being punished by God, back to being favored again, all in the span of 4-5 pages. This goes on for @30-40 pages. While accurate to the later sections of the Old Testament, as an adaptation it fails to engage the reader.
I may have to root for the beagle for BIS at Westminster tonight.
I would watch Rockstar Curling.
I am also primary-ing today. I have to figure out if I can vote in the building I'm in all day, or if I have to drive out to my district voting area to vote.
Beagle tongue! So cute!
Happy Birthdays, Kristin & Maria!!!
Hey, lisah! When you come around, who is your dentist? (Maybe I'll get lucky and they are on my plan. I hate throwing darts at a wall to find a damned provider.)
I've been going to Dr. Weiner (& Klupt) up in Pikesville for several years now and I really like them but they actually don't take any insurance at all. They've always submitted a claim for me and then I get the money back from my insurance co. I think I'm going to have to change too and go to somebody who actually accepts my insurance. But I don't know who. I've been avoiding. My insurance co. website actually lists Weiner & Klupt as providers but it's a lie. So annoying.
Happy Birthday Kristin and Maria, you fabulous women, you.
Happy Birthday Maria and Kristin!
I was hoping the Harrier would win, but the beagle was cute.
