"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Entertainment Weekly has a fluff piece on 30 Dead TV Shows You'd Revive. A lot of Buffista favorites on that list, including three separate Tim shows.

I agreed with the vast majority, and can see the arguments for most of the rest. I do think they should have just made it 29 shows if they couldn't think of anything better than Kindred: The Embraced for #30, though.

I think that they make a good point. KtheE was very sophisticated for its time. I liked it :)

Ellen has featured the Hawaii chair on her show - SO ridiculous.

Thanks for the kind words nice people.

This morning we had an 8:45 Dr. appt. But were not evenn into the waiting room until after that because people were running late. I hates them. We didn't see a Dr. until around 9:20 and then in 10 min. we were done. It is the difference between me getting to work at 10:30 or 11:00 and that is a big difference in being late or taking half a day. fingers crossed boss will still not make me take half a day, but who knows.

not your mom's socks.

So since this really should be Friday, what are we doing for the weekend?

I ask since I am looking for vicarious distraction. My weekend consists of Dreading the Accountant All of Saturday (with pleasant dinner and movie interlude at a friends' house Saturday night), Going To Accountant on Sunday Morning, and Dealing with Fallout Thereof Sunday Afternoon through, oh - 2010.

Last year, we found out that via a mis-com, and courtesy of a lovely post-doc loophole, we owed over $8k. What we did not have.

SO hoping this year will be different. And that we get the inspection report back on teh house before I shout a hole through my desk.

Oh and then Monday, I begin breaking up w/ my employers of 10 years by telling them I want to go part-time (unless we owe lots of money again; then I will do no such thing).

This weekend I will attempt to get on a schedule where I don't fall asleep at 7 PM and wake up at midnight and fall alseep again at 5. I'll probably go out to dinner with my friend Kelly on Friday and see if she can keep me awake. Apart from that, nothing too interesting. I might watch Death Proof since that should turn up in the mail soon.

Oh, and I might go downtown on Sunday to see how/if the Anonymous thing goes down, because yes, I'm still obsessed with that. But whether I have the energy probably depends on how project-sleep-8-hours-in-a-row goes.

I am going to see this with friends (a friend is in it): [link]

Saturday, I dunno, maybe actually stay in and get some rest.

Sunday maybe brunch and then cleaning.
