Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

This weekend I will attempt to get on a schedule where I don't fall asleep at 7 PM and wake up at midnight and fall alseep again at 5. I'll probably go out to dinner with my friend Kelly on Friday and see if she can keep me awake. Apart from that, nothing too interesting. I might watch Death Proof since that should turn up in the mail soon.

Oh, and I might go downtown on Sunday to see how/if the Anonymous thing goes down, because yes, I'm still obsessed with that. But whether I have the energy probably depends on how project-sleep-8-hours-in-a-row goes.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I am going to see this with friends (a friend is in it): [link]

Saturday, I dunno, maybe actually stay in and get some rest.

Sunday maybe brunch and then cleaning.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Saturday is class day. At least the weather is supposed to be sucky....

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Sigh. I had forgotten about Boomtown.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Zero plans, other than acupuncture and massage. Which I must schedule. Shoulder's like rock. And coming down off morphine.

I was looking forward to having faculties back and was perfectly willing to give over a weekend to pain and distress in order to get there faster, but I guess it's not as simple as that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Today has to exist! It's the first day of my break between jobs!

What really needs to happen is that I get all your days, since you don't want them, and I want more of them.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

This weekend I will be Mr. Mom-ing it with Da Punk. Which should be awesome.

What I really want to know is why you aren't visiting DC during this break between jobs. Hmm?

I am entertaining the 'rents this weekend, and admiring the new living room rug and Stickley rocker which will arrive with them.
