I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It depends on the state. I think. Seems to me the reps can change their minds and swing their votes to someone else at the conventions. But I may be overstating the arbitrariness.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yeah, most of what I understand about the process comes from watching the end of S6 of the West Wing.

Ah, fuck me. An apt complex across the street has had a rash of arsons today. 5 individual fires set. Mind you, my complex, in the past few years, has had the leasing office arsoned twice, plus assorted unexplained apt fires (I cornered a cop at one of them and he told me the suspected it was a serial arsonist.)

Freaks me the hell out.

I had my neighbor's home burnt when I was a teen, due to some fucktard arsonist never caught. I've had accidental fires. It freaks me the fuck out. ( repeating that...) I'm gone 10 hours a day, with all that is precious to me here. IT REALLY FREAKS ME OUT.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

On a mostly shallow note, I've been listening to the speeches, and regardless of who ultimately comes out on top, it's going to be SO nice to have a grammatical, articulate president again.

Except that Obama just used "enormity" as "really big thing" instead of "enormously horrible thing."

Tsk, tsk.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh my god, Huckabee has Chuck Norris standing at his shoulder as he gives his speech.

I want Chuck Norris standing on his shoulder. And I think the nation is with me.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Just popping into Natter to say that an ill Trudy Booth noticed that Procedurals and Natter were on the same post and Bitches were close, and set us to posting in Bitches. Unfortunately, there weren't many of us there, and folks keep posting in Natter, making it harder to catch up. Please, for the love of doG, someone post in Procedurals and Bitches and not here, just until they're even. It maybe silly, but if you don't, I may die of haiku trying to keep up.

Start posting your haikus one line to a post. That should help.
