For me this is key. If it's something I wouldn't use if I were making that item, I probably shouldn't be eating it. But then again, I really don't eat that much that is processed anyway. However, I don't always make the best choices either. I should be eating way more leafy greens for example.

OH! I'd like this recipe. I have two boxes of TJ's whole wheat couscous in my pantry that i'd love to use.
Well, I just looked at the cookies I bought. Why Look - a trans fat. and corn syrup ( not high fructose, but corn syrup is one of those industrial products that I have issues with) But they are tasty - and not a normal part of my diet. So it isn't none in my house, but there isn't a lot.
My last attempt at couscous was definitely sub-par, despite using the same container of grain I've been using all along. I don't know if I've forgotten something I was supposed to season the water with or what.

I figure as long as I don't eat like my grandmother - I'm doing ok. My mom grew up with things like cake for breakfast.
