She's totally got the whole thumbsucking down. Even had proper index placement! (it really is most comforting laying like that....) She really is adorable.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

aw .... cutie Grace!

I took a friend to lunch today to celebrate her birthday. We both had salmon stuffed with crab, bay shrimp, and brie. With a big pile of mashed potatoes (with flecks of skin and a few lumps) and broccolini. I'm stuffed. And kind of sleepy.

On the age thing ... I know I look younger than I am, especially since I started coloring my hair. But I was at Vortex's right before Christmas and a couple of her friends seemed to think I was, like, 15 to 20 years younger than I am ... flattering, but, um ....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That sounds so good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Everyones the same height lying down.

You've never done a 6'8 guy, I'm guessing.

Weekend: Saturday is various appointments to improve my health, and I'm back to teaching krav so I'm subbing in the morning. Sunday is more teaching, and then coffee plans with a friend, and tentative movie-watching plans with another.

Suddenly that seems too much.

Well, do what you can, ita. It sounds fun (and way more ambitious than my week).

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You've never done a 6'8 guy, I'm guessing.

I'll have to get on that!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I had nummy NY strip steak for lunch. Am now stuffed and want to nap....
