And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just want to tick a tickybox I solidly believe in, just this once.

And the thing is, I really like both Clinton and Obama as presidential candidates. I will be more than happy to vote for either one of them in November. But the primary race is getting on my last nerve. (Even moreso because I also know that as soon as it's Either One Of Them v Some Republican, they'll suddenly become BFFs again. If I thought either one of them believed any of the mud they were slinging, it'd still be disappointing, but nowhere near as irritating.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I was under the impression that what the Clintons were saying about Obama was far worse than what Obama's saying about Clinton. Or maybe I'm just reading too much Andrew Sullivan....

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

But the primary race is getting on my last nerve.

I'm hoping Super Tuesday will be decisive for one of them. The last thing I want is for this sniping to go all the way through to the convention.

That was my impression as well. That, and Hil using Bill as her pit bull, which is what's really getting up my nose about all this.

Local Obama campaign workers have been disrupting Clinton campaign events and been personally abusive to local Clinton campaign workers here. (And I honestly don't care that it's happening at such a low level that it's escaping media attention, or that Obama himself probably didn't order it. When it's my friends they're attacking and lying about to the press, I'm not going to vote for their guy.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Not mutually exclusive, FTR. I would hesitate to base much on Sullivan's opinions of anyone, but maybe especially HRC. That said, I do think the Clinton camp has been throwing the most mud (or throwing it least skillfully, at any rate).

I don't mind Bill bulldogging for Hillary, but most of what he's been swinging is either based on deliberate misinterpretation (the Reagan stuff) or just seriously unpleasant and racially suspect (the Jesse Jackson stuff). He didn't have to go down those roads - his speech about Obama's war stance being a "fairytale" was not something I totally agreed with, or was happy to see in a primary stage, but a legitimate tack nonetheless.

I keep mixing up the date of Md's primary with the date of my dental appt for crownwork. I think that sums up my attitude.

I keep turning onto my right side while sleeping and jamming up my shoulder. It wakes me up with the aching. Bleah. Done with that.

Yeah, that stuff I hadn't heard about, and don't like to see from anybody. (BTW, did you see the batshit crazy coming out of NY NOW this weekend about Kennedy? Eep.)
