I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, that stuff I hadn't heard about, and don't like to see from anybody. (BTW, did you see the batshit crazy coming out of NY NOW this weekend about Kennedy? Eep.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I love the second part of this headline:

ELDERLY CANDIDATE WINS ELDERLY VOTE IN FLORIDA, RUDY SET TO WITHDRAW TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH 9/11

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I think we need to cut this whole campaign thing short - as it is, people start campaigning something like two years before the election. It's turned into an endurance test and everyone's exhausted and burned out by the end.

On the bright side, the day after the election, if someone asks what you think of the results, "I'm so glad it's over" is a safe response.

Was that when they said Kennedy's endorsement of Obama was the "biggest betrayal ever" of feminism?

There goes all my give-a-shit. I mean, I'll go out and do my yellow dog Democrat duty on Election Day for whoever,

I am JZ. I think it's sad that we've gotten to a state in which I would vote for a yellow dog rather than a Republican. Hell, I used be a Republican, more or less, back when the Republicans actually made vague stabs at fiscal responsibility.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I just want to tick a tickybox I solidly believe in, just this once.

Jesus, it's bad out there. I about died from the wind whipping the snow around so I couldn't see or barely breath.

You know what's not fun? Coming out of a steaming hot club and basically being flash-frozen by that nice little blizzard.

Our wings are not tired.

I voted for Clinton in the 'doesn't count for now' Florida primary. The local paper says the older people voted and the younger people didn't. Since the Dems didn't campaign here that isn't surprising.

I don't watch any of the news programs so anything I have heard of sniping would be from NPR or headlines here and there. All my news comes from TDS, Buffistas, or news sources on line where I selectively read. Politicians don't play nice and it is crazy making. Apparently I need to sit down with the big dog and give him a stern talking to, but then he would get all flirty and it wouldn't end well.
