That's what I keep saying, but DH thinks I am a blind optimist.
If I'm not making it up entirely, I heard it on NPR, but I don't remember who was talking, so that person could have been a blind optimist rather than a news reporter.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I think it seems really unlikely that they wouldn't seat the Michigan and Florida delegates.

I have to say that between that and the Jesse Jackson thing, I'm having a hard time stomaching either Clinton this week.
Toni Morrison endorses Obama.
Ahrg. They didn't get the part in time. So it will have to wait until tomorrow.
Rather than be out $40 in cab fare (that was a while ago,) I'm picking it up & dropping it off AGAIN.

annoying! That happened to me when I brough my car there too! And meant I had to arrange for friends to take me and pick me up from work. Speaking of...if you wanted a ride from the mechanic's to work tomorrow I can do that for you without hardly going out of my way at all.
Timelies all!
Tonight is dance practice, so I'm not watching anything on tv. (Even if I were at home tonight, I wouldn't watch the SoTU speech)
Good luck with the car, sarameg. I hate having car repair issues (knock on wood, so far I've been lucky with my 2-year-old Civic).
Speaking of, I was just doing a general budget (estimated income and fixed/estimated outgo) for the next few years, trying to figure how much I can put into savings and how much I can add to my car payment, and figured that, if I keep my B&N gig and my full-time job, and if expenses don't go through the roof for anything unexpected (say, car or cat issues, or even my own health), I can get my car paid off ten months early and can get $10K in savings by the time my car was scheduled to be paid off! That's with a few (cheap) vacations scheduled in each year, and a generous general expenses figure per month that I can shave down if need be for emergencies. I'm printing it out to see if I can stick to it.
Now let's hope that I can keep my jobs...

Coming to a US Navy warship by 2020 (assuming materials can be invented that are strong enough so it won't destroy itself).
