"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love the Aveeno intense hand relief. I wash my hands more often than most of you (one visit to Grace usually equals 8-10 hand washings with sanitizing thrown in for psycho measure) and that lotion actually does keep my hands from cracking and bleeding.

YAY FNL!

Also a new Project Runway. I really hate Christian and am intrigued that Kit flies entirely under the radar. But tonight they go to the Hershey Store instead of Mode for supplies, for dressmaking, not just munching. Chris March, who made the infamous Veggie Dress should do very well at this challenge.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The fact that this is Wednesday (and thus PR day) and not Monday is way more confusing to me than it should be.

Me too. But then, I'm easily confused.

Also, wasn't Chris eliminated last time?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Even with insulation, heating with propane and heating by burning dollar bills works out about the same.

Yeah.

I didn't really end up with much choice. You remember I wanted to go with in floor radiant, but the cost of the slab was somehow ridiculously exorbitant. I still can't figure out why, and that jacked with a lot of our other design decisions, too, like the house is so much taller that I couldn't grade up to the level front entry, etc. I couldn't get anyone willing to install the old boiler & radiant water baseboard heating. We were going to go with electric baseboard, but the builder talked us out of it, with the cost of the wiring. He seemed to think that forced air was more salable. Oh, and we can't get natural gas out here.

So we were fresh out of options and propane it was. We also have a propane stove, water heater, dryer etc., but those appliances we built in the electric from the beginning so we can easily switch over if we choose to.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Also, wasn't Chris eliminated last time?

He was auf'd two eps ago, but when Jack (the HIV-positive designer) came down with a sore that had to get checked on ASAP, they brought hime back. Stephen (my Chicago homeboy) was auf'd most recently for the egregious black with white trim matronly dress that was all he could think of to do with a 1980s-era wedding dress.

Oh, right. For some reason I thought he was the one eliminated (a second time). Was he also on the chopping block? I can't remember what he made.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Sigh. Day One of Weight Watchers. I've eaten every single thing I brought from home for the day, and I'm STARVING. I don't get to leave for another hour and a half. I've got a few points left to play with and still have room for the dinner I'm planning, but I was trying to save them for an after-dinner snack if I need one.

I so badly want to run down to the gift shop, but I know that most of the choices, and especially most of the choices I like, are well above what I can afford while staying within points.

Help me be strong....
