I'm also the only one who can routinely be found in a bunny suit checking labels on hydrofluoric acid, so I feel like no one gives a crap.
Bunny suit? Is it pink & fluffy, and did you get it by raiding ita's closet?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

and Aerosoles is STILL saying they have the boots I ordered in my size when they've canceled my orders because they were out of stock. bogus.

I'm sort of picturing Anya doing Allyson's job. It makes me laugh.
I am glad to hear other people are annoyed by the phone thing. It seems like such a little thing, but I am sick and therefore easily annoyed. At least the singing coworker has gone home for the day.
Why do people dial the phone and listen to the phone ring on speakerphone, and then pick it up when they get the person. Does this somehow save time? Does the 30 second you can spend without holding the phone really matter?
I've done that. All part of the cult of multi-tasking!

No exploding mascots prior to that, I hope.

Yeah, me too. Particularly when I'm a) calling multiple people or b) not sure they'll be there or c) really trying to get something done on the computer. I never did it a lot, and never when I was working around lots of other people, but I have done it.
I find it particularly annoying (the phone thing) when the people aren't multi tasking. Like, they lean back in their office chair, hit speaker phone, dial, and then lean back waiting for the person to answer.
I do it too, sometimes. Not really sure why.

I hate that too. It's like they're trying to oh-so-subtly announce to the office "I'm making a phone call! I's is impo'tant!"

Yeah, see, like Sophia above I've rarely seen anyone actually multi-task while doing that. They speaker it, dial, and stare at it doing nothing, listening to it ring until someone picks up...and then they grab the handset.
I don't know why, but it drives me nuts. Sophia, I am your comrade-in-arms in this.
Hmmm. I may have to re-think the annoying if so many Buffistas do it....
