I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's a dress code in my office, which seems unfair, because we hardly ever see clients. Jeans Friday have become a ridiculous treat for me. I get very excited that half of my clothing has already been decided.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I sometimes wear pants on Fridays. That's exciting, right?

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I hate "Jeans Friday". I got a whole rant about it.

Not that I hate wearing jeans, or prefer to wear Bus. Casual or Full On Business Samurai Drag or anything. I prefer jeans.

But "Jeans Friday" grates.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I sometimes wear pants on Fridays. That's exciting, right?

Not as exciting as the days you don't wear pants.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The women in my office almost never wear dresses or skirts. I am trying for pants no more than twice a week and a suit at least once a week. Jeans are not allowed. All I know is that I need more color in my winter wardrobe.

I'm not wearing pants now! Well, I'm not wearing trousers.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I am wearing nice jeans right now. AND a cardigan (wool, pearl buttons, sky blue). and boots. I usually wear sneakers on Friday to make it my own casual day.

I am lisa - woot! No dress code and I do wear jeans every day but I wear nice ones with sweaters, button up shirts and jackets, etc. and boots or flats. On Fridays, I might wear a hoodie and tennies or a t-shirt and flip flops in the summer. I love having no dress code.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am wearing black drawstring pants and a button down shirt. I feel like a slob, pantswise, but I will need to put on a knee brace when I skate after work, since it still is a bit hinky after the fall I took last week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's no official dress code here, and I wish we had one. People with whom I share a boss wear flip flops, and a shorts suit and a denim pantsuit have been spotted in the wild. I am mostly the same business casual as at my last job, but with random jeans thrown in especially when I have no meetings. Some people observer a jeans Friday sort of a thing, which is weird, because there's certainly no direction from management.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I hate "Jeans Friday". I got a whole rant about it.

I love that rant!

I get to wear jeans every day, which is good because many days I end up crawling on the floor fixing various office machines.

I only have one coworker here with me now. I have been answering the phone for 30 minutes straight without a moment's peace. Imma go smoke.
