Not as exciting as the days you don't wear pants.
I'm not wearing pants now! Well, I'm not wearing trousers.

I am wearing nice jeans right now. AND a cardigan (wool, pearl buttons, sky blue). and boots. I usually wear sneakers on Friday to make it my own casual day.
I am lisa - woot! No dress code and I do wear jeans every day but I wear nice ones with sweaters, button up shirts and jackets, etc. and boots or flats. On Fridays, I might wear a hoodie and tennies or a t-shirt and flip flops in the summer. I love having no dress code.
I am wearing black drawstring pants and a button down shirt. I feel like a slob, pantswise, but I will need to put on a knee brace when I skate after work, since it still is a bit hinky after the fall I took last week.
There's no official dress code here, and I wish we had one. People with whom I share a boss wear flip flops, and a shorts suit and a denim pantsuit have been spotted in the wild. I am mostly the same business casual as at my last job, but with random jeans thrown in especially when I have no meetings. Some people observer a jeans Friday sort of a thing, which is weird, because there's certainly no direction from management.
I hate "Jeans Friday". I got a whole rant about it.
I love that rant!
I get to wear jeans every day, which is good because many days I end up crawling on the floor fixing various office machines.
I only have one coworker here with me now. I have been answering the phone for 30 minutes straight without a moment's peace. Imma go smoke.
I don't think anything will ever alarm me quite as much as my old insane coworker did, the time she showed up at work in a sky blue velour tracksuit.
Aw, remember my insane coworker? Remember how insane she was?
I'm wearing black pants and a very old sweatshirt that I only wear when everything else is in the laundry, which is the case today. Also, because the vent directly above my seat is blowing cold air on me, I'm wearing the fleece jacket that my sister sent me a few years back that I keep here for just such an occasion.
Damn, it's cold in my cubicle.
Aw, remember my insane coworker? Remember how insane she was?
I do! I do!
I'm wearing a purple tweedy skirt, black sweater (non-cable knit), black tights, black shoes. I wish I were wearing boots, because it's a little cold out. I need another pair of boots, so I don't wear the same ones every day.

That's the situation here, too - there's no official Casual Friday rule, but people dress down towards the end of the week anyway.
I can't wear jeans every day because I don't own that many pairs of jeans.
I am wearing a black turtleneck, black wool skirt, black tights and a burgundy cardigan. My boss wears suits every day, and frankly I would too, but since I have become plus sized, but petite, suit jackets just do not fit me, my arms, or my books, correctly, and I do not want to alter them.
