Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have been alerted that I may be asked to be a bridesmaid for the wedding I am missing VividCon for.

I'd ask if that makes it better or worse, but from the context, I'm going to guess worst. Does the bride have good taste?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday msbelle!

I'm sorry for the crappy days, other people.

I am drinking my first cup of coffee from my new french press. I think I am unimpressed, so far.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Happy birthday, msbelle!

Today is just the latest crap-work day in a series of crap work days. I have had at least 2 coworkers out since the holidays ended and at one point only one other coworker and I were here.

I hate having to reschedule people, figure out what is going on with their cases from incomplete files, and deal with dropped communication.

The good news-I have another job prospect! I'm really nervous about this one though because it comes through a friend who is a headhunter for creative firms. I won't be terribly upset if I don't get the job (though it does look like a great place to work). I just don't want to disappoint or reflect badly on her.

Can you actually make a decision before the caffeine has hit, even if it is over the coffee itself? It's something of a tangle.

Happy Birthday, msbelle! Mac is too cute.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I know I'm asking for a smiting by even saying this, but I would pay good money to see Shrift in a bridesmaid dress.

hip deep in pie

Especially since my annoying cow-worker who works out loud is now singing "Loving you.... is easy cause you're beautiful....." over and over again.

I think that would be a justifiable homicide.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, msbelle! BK day!

okay, people need to stop quoting the lyrics. Everytime I push it out of my head, someone quotes and it comes back!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha! Me too!
