My workplace is full of recriminations, cursing and pointing fingers. It's hilarious, because it happens every.damned.time we do an installation. People just can't follow directions for shit.

I often wake up all knotted up because I tend to sleep hard. Strategic use of pillows helps.

I move that we label this day "crappy". All in favor?

Well, things could always take a bad turn but I had the most delicious oatmeal (w/ almonds, dried cranberries, and brown sugar) plus olive bread toast w/ avocado this morning. Plus, I'm taking off for the rest of the week (to see my new nephew in NC!!!) so this is like a Friday for me.

So, I'd rather not label my day "crappy" as it's done nothing to deserve that title.

Today is just the latest crap-work day in a series of crap work days. I have had at least 2 coworkers out since the holidays ended and at one point only one other coworker and I were here.

I hate having to reschedule people, figure out what is going on with their cases from incomplete files, and deal with dropped communication.

The good news-I have another job prospect! I'm really nervous about this one though because it comes through a friend who is a headhunter for creative firms. I won't be terribly upset if I don't get the job (though it does look like a great place to work). I just don't want to disappoint or reflect badly on her.
