I was so happy that
the two of them in the cafe in bath before the cousin burst in was the torment it ought to be.
those two really need to learn to not have important discussions right in front of doors. that foiled them about nineteen times
Has anyone read the book? Does she
sail of on a ship in the end?
I read the book at least twice, so I have no fear of the whitefont. No worries.
So far my only complaint is that
Anne looks directly at the camera too much. It's starting to feel like shtick.
But I do like
how well the capture the deliciousness of the angst and the brief but meaningful touches and looks.
Feh. I can't find out if my school is cancelled or not. I'll call after 8:30 (when it formally opens) and find out for sure.
ETA: I emailed the instructor, and we're DEFINITELY closed, so yay on not having to do a hairy and long commute.
Are most schools closed? I heard it mentioned on my morning commute that Boston was closing schools.
eta: sometimes other schools will tie there policy to the public schools
Laura, I finally had to email the instructor to find out. Clearly, their communication policy needs some working on. Yes, just about all public schools are closed around here and most colleges, too. After the commute-from-hell last month I think that the authorities will be more likely to err on the side of caution.
In the meantime, I'll get a Snow Day, and can cuddle up with cats, TV, knitting, playing with Photoshop and programming and whatnot.
I've got a snow day from work. The upside is I don't have to go out in this mess today if I don't want to. The downside is I'll have to dig out eventually. I think I'll split the difference and do a few rounds of shovelling/clearing today so that there will be less tomorrow (plus the stuff coming down now looks a lot less messy than what's on the ground.
Also torn between hibernating and trudging out to catch a movie. But, hey, SNOW DAY!
I love snow days. It's totally a gift of time. Except that you have to deal with the snow eventually.
Damn you, New England! That's our snow!!
NYC didn't get the four inches predicted?
Nope, we just got rain. The snow completely missed us.
