Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Well, I wouldn't actually want Laura's weather--80 is borderline too warm for my tastes in JULY, much less January. It's just the short days and gray skies that get to me, and I have to keep reminding myself that there's such a thing as July, with sun and mid-70's temps and gloriously long days, and in just six months or so I'll be at a Sunday afternoon baseball game (because I believe in the Church of Baseball) thinking how perfect it is to live out here. Or, you know, leaving an evening game in July when it's 9:30 and still not quite dark, instead of leaving the office at 4:30 and whimpering because it *is* practically night already.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had lunch with JZ and Matilda. Both are still adorable and lunch was yum.

Our wings are not tired.

You'll note my complete silence on the subject of weather in July. It is only a brief couple months in the winter that I can open my windows. The rest of the time it is A/C.

Is anyone watching the snowy football game?

red red wine

Seattle v Green Bay football in getting deeper every minute snow. It looks like so much fun. Silly boys need to put long sleeves on though. Don't know what it is, but football in snow always looked like a blast to me. Must be from watching Buffalo in my youth.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Man, I woke up with a headache; thought it was sinus, dosed myself accordingly, did my neti pot, etc.

Nope. It's a migraine, and has settled in to the right side of my head. Blast. I just took migraine meds, but the pain may already have too great of a head start.

The more standoffish of the 2 cats, Toke, just came over to sit on my lap. I think she knows I have a migraine and wants to make me feel better.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

D and I both picked up the same ick in the waiting room on Thursday, and have matching sore throats and coughs. Hack hack hack hack.

On a more positive note, you can now die on Oregon Trail (Facebook edition). Whee!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think she knows I have a migraine and wants to make me feel better.

Or, she thinks you are going to die soon, and wants first crack at your corpse.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I love snow bowls!
