You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I love snow bowls!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I love when critters feel for you. Yesterday a very large and solidly made Papua New Guinean drum fell from great height onto my arm (please don't ask me how) and it hurt and I cried and cried and Seabiscuit hovered around anxiously until the SO got home to take a look at me. (It's fine, if bruised and scratched and swollen.) But the dog was very comforting in the meanwhile.

I didn't know there was a snow bowl going! Must tune in. That's how it's supposed to be played. Also then I can get my laundry sorted and put away and sorted and washed and sorted and put away. 'Cause I didn't get jack else done today, and the time she is getting short.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

One of our cats is very good when one is sick. We call him Dr. Zorro. He is a determined lap cat but when I was recovering from my surgery and could not have anything on my lap, he would carefully lie down right next to me and gently touch my arm with his paw.

The other one doesn't give a hoot.

Our wings are not tired.

Sorry Liese, it just ended. It's the most snow I've seen on the field in a while. Brett was throwing snowballs at his teammates.

Aw. Too late. That's awesome! Every professional sports game would be better with snowballs.

I agree. Hell I think most everything would be better with snowballs.

not your mom's socks.

I kind of hate January, but February seems worse

February should be outlawed. This is all I have to say.

Teppy - hope your head does not outpace your meds. ::bubblewrap & a nice dark room::

I always said Chicago would be perfect if we could just go right from January 31st to March 1st.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

He is a determined lap cat but when I was recovering from my surgery and could not have anything on my lap, he would carefully lie down right next to me and gently touch my arm with his paw.

Aw! My cat tries, but he's just too stupid -- he always comes over and stands on my stomach when it doesn't feel good.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I think she knows I have a migraine and wants to make me feel better.

Or, she thinks you are going to die soon, and wants first crack at your corpse.

This is more likely, now that I think of it....

Teppy - hope your head does not outpace your meds.

I get to take more meds in a few minutes, so with a little luck, I can beat this migraine down.

Still, I got a lot done today in spite of the headache: we went to a neighborhood swap meet (called "Up For Grabs" -- all you had to do was bring at least 2 things you wanted to donate, and then you could take whatever other people brought that caught your eye), I did 3 loads of laundry (the last one is in the dryer right now, and the other 2 are even folded and put away -- or hanging up, for the items that I don't tumble dry), I vacuumed the unholy quartet of kitchen/dining room/living room/bathroom, and I did yoga.

Now I don't have to do anything for the rest of the night. The Boy is cleaning litterboxes and considering giving the dogs a bath. Ah, sweet domesticity.
