Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My board name is number one! My name that seems so lovely and unique! I am so sad!

Also, I cannot stop laughing over Sheryls multiple posting. I think I am a little punchy already!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh, I think we all know how popular the name "Amy" was in the 70's. Hence, my reason for changing Emma to Emeline shortly before she was born.

Today is Big Grading Day. Pray for me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I wish I knew when Jessica dropped out of the top 100. It was in the top 10 for at least 5 years before and after I was born, but seems to have gone completely out of fashion at some point when I wasn't paying attention.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah -- my freshman high school English class had two Jessicas, me, and a boy Jesse.

Librarian Warlord

My maternal grandmother (b. 1895) was Maud Gladys. My paternal grandmother (and Sox's) (b. 1908) was Eleanor, which I've always liked and is now a niece's middle name.

My RL name, Elizabeth, is just never going to go away because of all the nicknames it spawns.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Current Worth 1000 Photoshopping contest: Death Takes a Holiday: [link]

Actually kinda' disappointing, although I really like this simple one of Death holding balloons: [link] - Death looks so happy....

Too many books? Nah, probably not true of anybody here, but... here's a cool idea for storing excess books: Hang your books from the rafters

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Has anyone seen the Kevin Henkes book Chrysanthemum? It's about having an odd name - pretty good for the pull-up set.

Heh. When I was a kid, my made up name was Chyrsanthemum Diamond. I thought it sounded very glamorous.

ION, the workmen are here FINALLY INSTALLING MY CABINETS. I wish that I'd thought to make coffee before they got here. Technically, I still could, but it would be inconvenient for them, and rude not to offer any.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm in class, after driving through really heavy rain, thanking some deity or another that it isn't SNOW.
