Also, randomly, I lost the beautiful pin that closes this wrap sweater that I bought in NZ. So I used a diaper pin today. I so don't care.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So basically koalas are The Dude of the animal kingdom?

They are outduded by the mighty sloth, who doesn't even bother holding itself upright and moves at such a rate that algae grows all through its hair.

I would like to brag about the dinner I made last night. Or rather, that I experimented with my usual garlicky spaghetti sauce and tossed in some red wine vinegar and squash and allspice and fresh parsley, and topped it all with freshly grated parmigiana-reggiano, and it tasted awesome.

I am going to nap so hard when I get home from work.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I love Wonder Woman's hair. And The Flash is just awesome. And Superman has a great outfit.

There's a bar in Madison where you can get a beer in a boot. A nice glass boot.

Is this a common thing? (It's a German-ish bar.)

I think it must be, because there's a German-ish brew pub near here that has boot-shaped glasses displayed prominently.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am so behind on the news. I had no idea about this:

[Britney] Spears spent almost two days in a Los Angeles hospital after being taken from her home on a stretcher after a standoff with police. News reports said she locked herself in a bathroom and became hysterical when Federline's representatives came to pick up their two young sons after a visit.

Huh.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My friend Ashok has one. We break it out at parties and yell "Das Boot!"

The drunker we are the funnier that is. It's a pretty good gauge.
