I also throw mine into the laundry and wear new stuff every night, but most of the time I just sleep in a t-shirt.

Damn, now I want to do a poll of Where Are You From and Where Are Your Parents From and What Type of Family Did You Come From to see what's up with the nightclothes-under-the-pillow thing.

We toss our nighties in the laundry unless it's too hot to wear any.
whereas I can in the yoga pants/cami shelf-bra getup I'm used to.I am looking at the pink with white polka dots "yoga" pants I am currently wearing and realizing that they fail the yoga pant test, which is being able to grab the mail or take out the trash in them. They may technically be lounge pants but they scream "twelve-year-old girl on her first sleepover" which isn't the image I want neighbors having of me.
I fold my nightclothes at the foot of the bed, usually.
bon, my sister in doing more laundry than we apparently have to.
Yeah! And I wear stuff all the time that hasn't been washed.

I had a trauma the other day because I will often go outside in my sleep/lounge wear of terrible t-shirts and ridiculous sweatpants, no bra, etc., but only if I can put a coat over. But it was too warm for a coat! I put one on anyway.
night... clothes...?
When I Wore Nightclothes, I kept them under the pillow. I do occasionally wear stuff to bed, but usually not much more than underpants and socks.

I think it could be the case in mine, too, except for the part where the family has been in North America for like 400 years. I'm pretty sure my grandmother had a French maid as a child, though!
I'm from Illinois, my parents are from Illinois. As a child I hung my robe on a hook on the back of my bedroom door but I can't remember what I did with my PJs. When I was an older kid I wore underpants and an undershirt to bed, so those went in the laundry basket the next day. Now my nightclothes end up in a heap on or about my unmade bed.
