I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Since I am wearing heels at work again, I bought myself some new ones - just got them in tonight: [link] and [link]

The first pair seems pretty comfortable as I am wearing them around the house tonight (I wore the 8 year old pair of black pumps that they are replacing all day today and my feet were not feeling great by 5, so this is a good sign). But I am in love with the brown ones. I really wish they had them in black also. or maybe a two-tone.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Post office still has not delivered my Christmas and birthday presents. I am ready to declare war.

Got keys cut at Ace easily. Tested them all on the way in. They work great. Clerks were funny boys. Quite unlike the jackass on a smoke break outside his mattress shop who told me to smile.

It was raining and the temperature was dropping, so rather than shoe shop, I went to Binny's and got some fancy sake.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fox is showing the pilot eps of Bones and House tonight.

Our wings are not tired.

Clerks were funny boys. Quite unlike the jackass on a smoke break outside his mattress shop who told me to smile.

I'm taking a stand here. Funny boys that make me smile are a good thing. Jackasses that tell me to smile are a bad thing.

I don't know as I have ever seen the pilot eps of Bones or House. Woo! It's like new tv for slackers.

I call the lace-ups (faux or not) granny shoes (because both my grandmothers had them) and I love the style!

Hrm, I need to buy more shoes. I'm wearing my fluevogs constantly. Need to add to the mix.

I also need to get rid of a bunch I don't wear any longer.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The last person that told me to smile was the person at the Columbus DMV over 10 years ago. After a day-long fuckus that left me swearing and ranting as I walked out the door.

My response to her was, "I THINK NOT" and my driver's license bore the picture that breeds nightmares.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

The Naturalizers are super cute! I may have to order a pair like those.

I've been wearing Fitzwell shoes for work for several years. They are great! I'm on my feet all day long in my classroom and my feet don't ache at the end of the day (unlike a couple other pair of shoes)

I'll admit it, Zappos is one of my addictions.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I love my fluevogs, too.

Is is OK to blow off grading papers tonight to shop for shoes on Zappos?

My feet are so weird, I really have to try on shoes. Even among a brand with similar styles. Plus getting shipped to is a pain in the ass.

Just as well, I really do have to clean out my closet before doing any more purchasing.

One of my neighbors greeted me tonight with "How's it going, beautiful?" Sometimes, that can ick me. It didn't this time. Not sure if it was because it was a neighbor (one who I don't really know, though) or if he was just super low-key and unthreatening. I took it as a compliment.

One of the things I like about this 'hood is that, despite the occasional fucktard lunacy, the regulars are pretty damned casually friendly. Just about everyone greets in passing. I now even get eye contact and the occasional small smile from the crazy russian lady who spends most of her time ranting at no one in particular and glaring suspiciously at passers-by.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You know, I'm really not invested in any candidate, so I don't care too much who wins. But man, is it really satisfying to watch Rudy Giuliani lose.
