I'm pretty sure what I grew up with as David Eyre's Pancake is also a Dutch Baby.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm so tickled to find that other Buffistas know of Dutch babies -- I've never met anyone else (besides my dad's second wife) who had any idea what I was talking about.
I didn't know what they were called, but I've only ever seen them in Boise. OMG the lemon and powdered sugar combo on the crepe-y/pancake, YUM.

Oh! We call those German Pancakes. We have them for xmas every year, and IIRC I put our recipe in the cookbook.

Biology is WHACK.
Dutch Babies used to be a staple of Seattle 24 hour dining.
Back in the day, when the city was more interesting than it is now, and we actually had some 24 hour dining, that is.
I had the recipe for them on my fridge for years. If it's still there (it might be), we're talking almost a decade. I don't make them much, because Lillian can't eat them, but they're pretty easy.
Noah and Grace pics make me happy.
Here's Dylan starring in his own rendition of Toes Are Awesome! [edited - new link, audio working now.]

I don't know how much the national news has covered this, but they found the body of the hiker who was kidnapped. [link] There hasn't been much hope ever since her dog turned up alone. It's played out like a Law & Order episode, except for the dreadful fact that it's not fiction.
