JZ, sounds like a blessing in disguise that you got let go early on - a revolving door position like that is guaranteed to be the fault of the boss and not the hires.
I'm feeling slightly less like I was hit by a truck today, but a family of porcupines seems to have moved into my throat, and I'm cold. DH is out at a screening and I've done all the baby-chasing I can handle for one morning, so Dylan is in the exersaucer. Thankfully he's enjoying it. Fingers crossed his mood will last until naptime so I can lounge here on the internets and drink my orange juice.
Yay Taz!
here you go, sumi! [link]
he has settled behind the couch- close enough to us to be near the action, but his own space. he has stopped mewing.
Aww, I want a kitty!!
Also, it would help if I were not a dumbass. Gah. So annoyed at self.
Taz is a beauty! I love gray tabbies.
Persey's new thing is touching my face while I'm falling asleep. I'll be almost asleep and I'll hear a little mew and then feel a soft paw against the side of my nose or on my eyelid. In my head she's testing to make sure I'm asleep before she works on her plans for world domination.
I think we are just about to get you rain, beth.
Bluebirds! Yay!
kitties!
It keeps getting dark then sunny here.
chocolate pecan pie is in the oven for tonight Matt is on his way to giving juliana a guitar lesson -- couch time for me.
Taz is so cute. Congrats, Nora and DH!
I am amazed at my small-talk capabilities. I just heard myself utter this conversational gem, "plus, with today's real estate market, you just never know." No chance of my brain starting working anytime soon, no sir!
aw, poor Taz has moved from behind the couch to under our bed. He started meowing at us when we found him there, so I think he wants to be left alone. poor guy. this is normal, right?
