Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Persey's new thing is touching my face while I'm falling asleep. I'll be almost asleep and I'll hear a little mew and then feel a soft paw against the side of my nose or on my eyelid. In my head she's testing to make sure I'm asleep before she works on her plans for world domination.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Taz is so cute. Congrats, Nora and DH!

I am amazed at my small-talk capabilities. I just heard myself utter this conversational gem, "plus, with today's real estate market, you just never know." No chance of my brain starting working anytime soon, no sir!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

aw, poor Taz has moved from behind the couch to under our bed. He started meowing at us when we found him there, so I think he wants to be left alone. poor guy. this is normal, right?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Very normal, Nora. Just leave him alone for a bit, and he will come see you soon enough.

oh, we were wondering how to handle feeding him- wait till he comes downstairs, go upstairs to show him the food and then go downstairs so he knows there's food there whenever he's ready, or just put food out for him? I'm wary of the last option because he hasn't utilized the food bowls yet...

I guess that depends on how long he hides. If it's only another hour or so, I would leave them where you plan on having them be normally. If it's longer, I would probably take them up to him.

Compassionately intolerant

Nora, Taz needs calm much more than food right now.

He can smell where the food is and will come for it when he feels the need. Even if he does not eat until tomorrow, he will be fine. Leave some water near where he is, but don't worry about food while he's stressed out.
