The Boy is peeling and chopping taters, having looked on the interbunny for a tater tot recipe. He's currently making me tater tots while I watch Lost.

Dylan gave me the plague, so I'm at home today curled up with a big glass of water and lots and lots of Tylenol. Maybe if I'm feeling better by this afternoon I'll attempt to celebrate Pi Day.

The Fort Worth Zoo is huge! I definitely overdid it, but it was completely worth it. J was just so adorable looking at all the animals.
Today is shopping day with T! Then we're going to a brew pub for dinner to make up for TCG having to join us for shopping day.
Teppy's fella is a very good fella. Tater tots, yum.
We just got word that Sandra Day O'Connor will be here today for a symposium. I should have dressed more like faculty and less like it's Friday.
Just went and saw my observation assessment -- all positive. And he praised me for positive feedback, which he said is big for him (me too!) and that the students seemed to really like me, and that if that's what I do every day, he thinks it's great.
Okay, it's not exactly what I do every day, but it was actually pretty close. I feel so relieved it's pathetic. I mean, a) he's always been positive and helpful and nice and I had no reason to suspect otherwise, b) I certainly know there are areas I need to improve, so it wouldn't have been unfair or mean to suggest them, and c) I know I really need to take criticism calmly (especially since the nice-but-not-quite-so-much-so principal will eventually observe me). Still, I'd gotten myself nervous, and I am so grateful that he was so positive.
Teppy, how were the tater tots?
