Thanks, Perkins! Today is all about getting there, finding our way to T's and having a big plate of pasta before getting some sleep. T's mom is a fabulous cook, so I'm really looking forward to the pasta.
Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Here's a (free!) alternative to the spy museum, bonny: National Cryptologic Museum
Have a great trip, sj!

She's 38. Has an 18 year old, who has a four month old
Yoinks!
Sometimes I freak out when I think about how old I'll be when my kids actually grow up and start considering having children. But then I look at my little noodles and I decide that the kids, whatever my age, are totally worth it.
Yeah, it freaks me out and makes me a little sad--I'm like "Hmm, I'm 30, and have no partner, so the likelihood of children in the near future is small...eep?"
I just remembered that I had a dream last night about being in an elevator with a couple people, and it started to crash, and we were having to like, hit "continue" on a little computer screen in the elevator to make it keep trying not to crash. And then I woke up and was like "Well, that was weird, usually my nightmares are much more predictable!"...and then went on to have one of my more usual nightmares about someone being in my house. Except it was a strange fat older man who was apparently using my shower, and was wearing a bathrobe and had like, a cleansing facial mask on (like, blue stuff you smear on, not like halloween mask). SO WEIRD.
zzzzz.....
I'm stopping caffeine and started cold turkey. Feels like I'm dying. I may not hold out all day.
caffeine -- more caffeine ...maybe that will keep me alive....
My mom was a mom at 18, a grandmother at 36 and a great-grandmother at 56. I suspect she will live to be a great-great grandmother from my sister's kids' kids.
I was a great-aunt at 27. My niece had kids 5 years before I did.
The brothers are moving in. You can see video of one of them here he's almost at the end fighting the guy named Sepulveda who looks like a stand-up comedian
Disney Channel runs ads for Lelli Kelly girls' shoes ad nauseum and Owen has decided he wants a pair. So I go to Zappos to take a look. CRAP! They're like $60-$100 a pair! For KIDS' SHOES. And I thought Crocs were expensive.
Although, I went to their site, I found this pair which I would love for myself. *sigh*
