It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Holy CATS. The tickets to the Newseum are $20!!! Wow. It's been a while since I've done the touristy thing. I had no idea.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, but it so IS, what it is... (She's 38. Has an 18 year old, who has a four month old)

Who is this, AU Lorelai Gilmore? If so, I don't blame you.

ACK younger than me!!

and I feel so freaking old today already

(I actually have an aunt who became a grandmother for the first time the year she turned 40, what I'm going to be this year. Ooh that burned her toast! But she was the one who had her son super young, he was like 23 when he had his first kid.)

Yikes!

I just got an email from my friend M - she's at the doctor's office. Her water broke this morning!

I think baby is a bit early.

I await details.

My step-mother became a gran at 38. She had her daughter at 20 and her daughter had her son on her 18th birthday.

The Spy Museum was like $15 or $18

Ack! That does sound awful expensive. ::shrug:: Plenty else to do!

My ex became a step-grandfather at 27. Seriously. His second wife was 32 when they got married and had a pregnant 14-year-old daughter. I don't think you can get much younger without violating more laws than must already have been.

If I had stayed married, I would have been a step-grandmother at 26. My DExH's eldest daughter was 6 years younger than me and got preggers at 20.

Lordy, I married on my 21st birthday but had no more idea to be a mother than the man in the moon. Fortunately, my husband beat me to the snippage department, so that wasn't an issue.

SO spendy for, what I'm given to understand is a lot of reading and not much wow.

Actually, it's a lot of fun, and there are some cool interactive exhibits. I probably would have been less impressed if I'd paid for it (I took students). I also would caution against weekends, there are a LOT of children there. I also caution against March in general, since it's spring break for a lot of kids, and they are on vacation here.

tap, tap, tap...tapping my foot.

Out of town friend had a bad flight...so instead of meeting us at 10am, she went to bed...was supposed to call after my 1pm appointment but I haven't heard from her.

Should I let her sleep or should I get her up so that she sleeps later? What ARE the rules with W to E jet lag?
