Should I go to the support meeting for our late co-worker? I don't think I want to be in a big room of sadness, even though I think that's secretly what I wanted last week. But that was last week! This is a new week, a possibly better week! I should be over it by now! But there's free lunch.

Oh, dear. I think since you didn't know the co-worker (that was you, right -- it seems like there were a couple of co-worker deaths last week) then you shouldn't go if you don't need to go, unless you want lunch more. But you make good money, so you can buy lunch.

Hey Cindy! That's great news about Julia's friend. That's way too much for a kid in elementary school to have to deal with. But now comes the dancing and the fun.

Hi, Cindy! I'm so glad Julia's friend is doing well and almost done with treatment. The poor little thing.

The week after next, for me. I'd forgotten until the meeting we had at lunch. Hooray!

Oh, yay! Nothing better than a good break to, um, something.

First, have to get through exam week and a teacher workday which will include "a fun surprise" somewhere off-site and outside. Er, yay. Just when I was planning to do all my grading. Hooray.

Yeah. That's kind of the hell I'm in right now. All of my tutoring students are Pan-Icked. It's so much fun. I have an exam on Thursday (though the prof is out due to a family emergency, so we're not even sure if the exam will still be on Thursday, because today was supposed to be the review/format/etc. day). Then, my next Spanish exam is the day after break. Um, who thought that was a good idea? I actually wish it was Thursday, so I could just get it over with instead of worrying about all the studying I'm not doing over break.

I agree. She was in first grade when this started. She kept up with dance all along, as much as she could. Her parents were excellent about making her feeling-decent times as normal as possible.

How are your babies big and small?

I just heard from T that the older nephew signed up for his 7th grade classes next year. He's taking a bunch of AP classes and his electives are robotics and multimedia. He's such a cute little science geek!
