It is. I've been doing some reading and the doctor told her that it has a very high success rate, and it does help to know that, but still. Scary scary shit. She's just married. She wanted to start a family right away. Her husband is trying not to be freaked the fuck out because he lost his sister-in-law to cancer a few years ago and his other sister-in-law is very ill with lupus.
