Up until the punching, it was a real nice party.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Wow, Fay!

Suzi, I hope your head stays okay.

More kitty ~ma for Jo!

Last night after posting I managed to whack my head on a table and basically bled until we got to urgent care. No stitches, but showering and brushing my hair into something presentable is going to be a trick for a while. Fortunately, they only cut a small lock of hair off. My DH took his job of waking me every couple of hours very seriously, so I'm staying home today to catch up on sleep. (He was able to wake me and go right back to sleep -- I'd lay there for a while and it always felt like I'd just fallen back to sleep when his alarm would go off again.)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh noes, Sparky, Laga, and Suzi! I hope your heads and faces are better today.

Yay Josie!

OMG I am completely and totally made of gronk. We even got to bed at the usual time last night! Also, I have a tummy ache. Nothing earth shattering, but combined with the gronk, I just want to be home in bed curled up in the fetal position.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Hil, have you by any chance changed laundry detergents recently? And/or done laundry in a different location?

And Fay, this fellow does sound edible.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's the classic rash for an allergy to something on your clothing, Hil. Are you using fragrance-free washing machine soap?

Go, Fay!

Stop hurting yourselves, people. You're stealing my act.

Mostly lurking...

oh,and in really awesome news, I did not get out of bed for 8 hours last night. Yeah, I was awake nursing at various times, but being able to nurse in bed makes it so less onerous. 6 weeks really is a magic milestone.

YAY! That’s wonderful.

Poor insomniacs! Hope you’re all sleeping now.

ION, the first full workday of DST after a night of fragmented sleep is probably going to be remarkably unpleasant, isn't it?

Yes. Yes, it is. Also, good to see you, Anne!

I have lost 22lb since January 7th. I am made of awesome!

Go you! That’s fantastic!

Sparky! OWE! Get some rest, girl.

Hil, have you by any chance changed laundry detergents recently?

Actually, I’ve heard that you can develop an allergic reaction to laundry soaps even if you’ve been using them for ages, so it could be the laundry detergent, even if you haven’t changed recently.

So, when I finally stumbled to bed last night, I set the alarm, but didn’t realize the clock hadn’t been changed (I was at my mom’s the night before). So, I’m up an hour later than I had been hoping. Oh, well.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I have an e-mail message with the subject "Is your skills about to expired?"

I'm not sure if it's spam or a message from the president.

Trust my rage

I am at H&R Block. They have no record of my appointment. I am beyond pissed. No one cares about customer service here AT ALL.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

That's the classic rash for an allergy to something on your clothing, Hil. Are you using fragrance-free washing machine soap?

Or have you started taking a new medication? Because when I suddenly got an allergy to generic Prozac, the rash started everywhere that clothing was tight-ish on me; notably, the elastic bands in my bra, panties, and socks.

Compassionately intolerant

Todd! Bwah!!

Fay, that fellow is INDEED lovely. Quite so. I realized, however, that OK tracks every click, so I'll bet he'll be wondering why the skeevy 47 year old in DC is scoping him out.

I liked Sparky's photo so much, I put in on my OK profile.

Steph, any advances on the anxious pooch front?
