I am making a pie. This has never happened before. My sister and I used to buy a pie mix but we would make and eat the crust and pour the filling into pudding cups.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Mmm, pie.
This Friday is Pi Day!
Argh. My annoyingly over-sensitive skin has decided to try some new tricks. I was at the office, getting some work done, and suddenly got this incredibly uncomfortable itchy feeling all over. It got bad enough that I couldn't stand to be sitting there working anymore, so I came home, got undressed, and realized that I have a bright red blistering rash everywhere that elastic was touching my skin -- so, lines matching where the elastic of my underwear was, around the back of my bra, and around my ankles from the top of my socks. The hell? Incredibly freaky. I put some Benadryl cream on all the itchy spots and went to sleep for a bit. It's not quite as itchy or as red anymore, but it's still uncomfortable, and really weird.
That happened to my mom once with a new bra.

Too much on my mind. Argh.
I'm sorry about the rash, Hil. Sounds like a reaction to a manufacturing chemical or something.
I can has sleep now?
Ha! Even with the time change, Kristin is still awake whereas I am up for the day. I hope the sleep comes soon!
Era: oh,and in really awesome news, I did not get out of bed for 8 hours last night. Yeah, I was awake nursing at various times, but being able to nurse in bed makes it so less onerous. 6 weeks really is a magic milestone.
Boo, insomnia.
I'm really not sure what's causing the rash. Everything I was wearing today was stuff I've worn before, and I've never had this sort of reaction. Itchy ring around my waist and back and both ankles.
Poor Hil! That just sounds so weird. Rashes always sort of creep me our. Hope you feel better soon.
I'm awake waiting for the pie to cool
Yay Josie!
Meara, you make it sound slightly less disconcerting, I confess. Although I think there'd still have to be a fairly substantial amount of alcohol involved. Hmm.
One thing I figure out on the return trip as looked out the Bus window: How do tell when you are in the rough part of Tangent, Oregon? There's graffiti spray-painted on the sides of the sheep.
Okay, this may be a really really stupid question - but are you sure that it was graffiti? I mean, the shepherds in my area always mark their sheep with a splosh of colour or something, in order to identify them, in the way that (as I understand it) cattle ranchers brand (branded?) their cattle. Sorry, you probably know that and you're probably talking about something that was blatantly not a case of the farmer identifying his sheep - just wanted to check. Because if there really IS sheep graffiti, that's hilarious.
God, someone make me stop vacuuming the cat! I've got a SHITLOAD of marking that I need to do Right Now, rather than being all Procrastination!Girl.
Still, on the bright side I just emailed a cute boy. Not the one I mentioned the other day - another one, from OKCupid, whom I've not emailed since Christmas, despite the fact that I think he's absolutely lovely, and that he may be pretty much made to measure as Fayish love interest. (Er, I did try to post a link to him before, but it didn't work. I'll try again, but I bet it still won't work. But he does seem quite ridiculously splendid. And he emailed me again, so I thought I really should get back to him.)
I'm so glad to hear that Josie is doing so much better!
ION, the first full workday of DST after a night of fragmented sleep is probably going to be remarkably unpleasant, isn't it?
