Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Art Crawl!!!

You know, even if the credentials were real - wouldn't you wonder about somebody with at least two good final degrees going back and getting a third? I mean, doesn't he want to work in his field?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Definately fishy.

Our wings are not tired.

vw's posting St. Thomas pictures. My home isn't tropical enough.

Probably very fishy, ChiKat, but will your sister hear you if you mention this possibility?

My home isn't tropical enough.

Oh! It's certainly tropical here. I have a mosquito net over my bed! And tropical birds woke me up today.

Our wings are not tired.

It looks wonderful, vw. DH#1 lived there for years, but I have never been there. One of his favorite St Thomas stories was about seeing Yoko Ono on a nude beach. He indicated it wasn't a pretty sight. (this was about 1970)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

You know, even if the credentials were real - wouldn't you wonder about somebody with at least two good final degrees going back and getting a third? I mean, doesn't he want to work in his field?

Wholeheartedly agree. Another reason for my distrust.

Probably very fishy, ChiKat, but will your sister hear you if you mention this possibility?

She would not hear it from me, but my mom and I are in cahoots. She feeds me info about him and I try to verify it. My mom will relay the findings back to my sister.

Frankly, I'm not sure she'll listen to my mom, either, but I can't just let her go down this road again.

Didn't find anything on Google Scholar, either.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Very odd, ChiKat. Others have offered better suggestions than I have - but spidey senses are worth listening to.

Had my review - went well.

My big squeeee yesterday is because the guy I sent my resume to a few weeks ago officially wants me in his group and is creating a job for me. It is not an official offer at this point, but the pieces are in motion. So I haven't been able to negotiate start date or pay raise or anything - but will put the skills I have learned here into play sometime in the near future.

I am very excited. My boss is very happy for me too and she is helping me put together a transition plan.
