Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

Gronk. Way too early to already be in the airport limo.

you weren't doing those in high school though

I was. Online by 1981 I think. It was at a whopping 300 baud. Mostly local BBS systems though.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Ohhh..... fine. Although I don't remember you being all about the computer in high school, mister. Were you on m-net then?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Ah, 300 baud. Back when you typed and had to wait for the BBS post to catch up with you.

Librarian Warlord

I am a ball of nerves today and wish I could just go crawl in a cave and never come out.

vw, I hope your meeting goes well today. You've had to do the department's thinking for them, and I'm sorry for it.

Thanks, you. I just read over the statement again, and I feel pretty good about it. I see my therapist before heading over to campus, so that will be good. I just hope I'm doing the right thing. And, I very selfishly hope that this does not hinder my academic career in any way--though, my thesis adviser now knows about the situation and supports my actions. So, at least that's something.

Yep. I forget what my username was back then. Probably "batman" if it was available.

And, thinking about it, it wasn't as early as '81. But definitely '85.

I am a ball of nerves today and wish I could just go crawl in a cave and never come out.

You just have to a few things, and then you can crawl into a cave (or, y'know, bed) and never come out (except for food and tomorrow). Good luck with the unpleasantness, in any case.

Is it weird that when DH is away, I pile some stuff in front of the bedroom door so that if anyone opens it while I'm asleep, the clattering will wake me up?
