Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

if Paris Hilton had a baby and somebody gave it away, it might just be the best possible thing for said baby.

The same can be said for Brittney Spears.

The thought of Paris Hilton procreating makes my head hurt.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And I figure if it looks terrible, I can just put blue on top and pretend like it never happened.

This is an excellent plan. And handily reminds me that I was going to enpurple today. Trying a new technique, yay.

It's sooooooooooo tempting. And I figure if it looks terrible, I can just put blue on top and pretend like it never happened.

We want pictures! You can't taunt us with the blonde and threaten to pretend it never happened in the same sentence! We must not be denied our vicarious dyeing!

vw, I hope that student gets help as a result of all of this. You've done the right thing by getting yourself away from him and reporting it to the people who are supposed to be equipped to deal with these personalities. ((vw))

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

{{{vw}}} is it just me or are you trying to take some of the blame for this student's incredibly inappropriate behavior? I hope it's just my interpretation but if you're really feeling this way: CUT IT OUT! There is nothing you could have done differently.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm putting off the pictures until we get back from our trip. TCG is still going to meet his dad and get his passport picture done, so his dad won't be heading over to the studio for no reason. My body image demons are just being way too loud today and my allergies are being evil and therefore my face is all red and puffy. Maybe a new outfit and a manicure will quell the demons before we do get the pictures taken.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I wish I felt better about it, but I don't. And I can't decide how much of this is a normal reaction and how much of it is a PTSD reaction.

I wish there were easy answers for that question, but the truth is, it is so perfectly natural to be pretty shaken up after what happened, that it would be more weird for you to not be shaken up. You did the right thing, and I hope that how you feel eases up soon.

My cat would not be a better mother than Paris Hilton, but honestly, I don't think he'd be worse , either

I question this assertion on the grounds that Harvey did an excellent job raising Sammie, and Katie before her. Male cats often have much better parenting skills than most people think. Your own might surprise you.

not your mom's socks.

{{vw}} can't see your lj posts (sadly) but I can gather enough to say that is a very tough situation and it sounds as if you've taken the right steps.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

argh! this monday has SUCKED

1. Up till 2AM just because I wanted to get the last of the books on the shelves.

2. Cleaners lost a button on my suit, had to wait for 20 minutes while they ran around looking for it.

3. Parking space was blocked off by construction guys, who then proceeded to tell me that I needed to give them my contact information because they're painting next week. I told them that I would move when the parking office told me to move, and I was tired of them blocking up the parking lot.

4. Stuck in a meeting with the horrible Power Point presentation. Notice that my boss has my name on the agenda despite the fact that I have TOLD him that I will be out of town.

5. Found out at 1:15PM that boss wants me to revise my PP presentation by 2PM.

6. At 3:15 PM, call my generally reliable student assistant to discover that she isn't coming in today and she forgot to call. I have a lot of shit that I need her to do today.

7. People i have never spoken to continue to call me and say "hi stephanie, I need X" Bitch, I don't know you, do not use my first name if I haven't said that you can!
