'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I wish I felt better about it, but I don't. And I can't decide how much of this is a normal reaction and how much of it is a PTSD reaction.

I wish there were easy answers for that question, but the truth is, it is so perfectly natural to be pretty shaken up after what happened, that it would be more weird for you to not be shaken up. You did the right thing, and I hope that how you feel eases up soon.

My cat would not be a better mother than Paris Hilton, but honestly, I don't think he'd be worse , either

I question this assertion on the grounds that Harvey did an excellent job raising Sammie, and Katie before her. Male cats often have much better parenting skills than most people think. Your own might surprise you.

not your mom's socks.

{{vw}} can't see your lj posts (sadly) but I can gather enough to say that is a very tough situation and it sounds as if you've taken the right steps.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

argh! this monday has SUCKED

1. Up till 2AM just because I wanted to get the last of the books on the shelves.

2. Cleaners lost a button on my suit, had to wait for 20 minutes while they ran around looking for it.

3. Parking space was blocked off by construction guys, who then proceeded to tell me that I needed to give them my contact information because they're painting next week. I told them that I would move when the parking office told me to move, and I was tired of them blocking up the parking lot.

4. Stuck in a meeting with the horrible Power Point presentation. Notice that my boss has my name on the agenda despite the fact that I have TOLD him that I will be out of town.

5. Found out at 1:15PM that boss wants me to revise my PP presentation by 2PM.

6. At 3:15 PM, call my generally reliable student assistant to discover that she isn't coming in today and she forgot to call. I have a lot of shit that I need her to do today.

7. People i have never spoken to continue to call me and say "hi stephanie, I need X" Bitch, I don't know you, do not use my first name if I haven't said that you can!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My heavens Ms. Vortex, that seems like a lousy day, ma'am.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

that's a bad day, Vortex.

Percy's 15. and so much happier being a single cat than he was when there were two of them. He wants nothing to do with other cats. OTH ,Bert would have been a great mom. He loved other cats and wanted to be friends with all of them.

{{{Vortex}}} What an awful day.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Yikes V. No clue what to say there.

VW. Um, holy cow. I just point upthread and nod, since a lot of good advice has been given. I hope the wee ones help renew your love for the world. Don't let one bad apple spoil your life.

ND, that is awesome news! (Sorry I had to push your call to VM, I was on one line, with crew waiting and stupid IT guy talking to me all at once. Aggggg).

GC, hope the hydration does the trick for kitty. Y'all need some warm fuzzies to keep you going. I vote for this one to stay with you. All in favor? Aye! The Ayes have it. There, kitty should be fine now.

GG, added you in LJ. Mine is, well, same as here, Omnis_audis. Ya, original, what can I say.

OK, enough of a Meara. I really should be working.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

{{{{{GC}}}}} Here's to Josie's health.

Vortex, that is a sucktastic day. Clearly, you should come visit. It's warm here!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe a new outfit and a manicure will quell the demons before we do get the pictures taken.

I like this plan, too.

That is a whole lot of Mondayness, Vortex. I hope it means that the rest of the week will be unusually smooth and easy.
