Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds pretty miserable, Jars. Blergh.

I hope you can come up with something that makes you feel pretty, sj. You do always look lovely in the pictures you post here and I'm sure you will in your engagement picture, also.

I've been told that flour can go bad, especially whole wheat flour, so I keep mine in the freezer. Usually. I have forgotten for long stretches and I've had all-purpose flour just sitting in the cupboard not even sealed up for months at a time with no ill effects, so I think yours is probably fine, omnis. There's a fair amount of baking you can do with oils and baking soda rather than egg, I think.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I keep my flour in the freezer because sometimes it can get critters in it. So if your flour's been sitting at room temp for any length of time, I'd suggest sifting it through a sieve before baking with it.

I have never heard of keeping flour in the freezer. Huh. I'll have to try it when I get a freezer bigger than a square foot.

Our wings are not tired.

A lot of people here keep flour in the freezer because of critters. I am always short of freezer space so I just keep it in a good airtight container.

t thunk

I have graded two sets of midterms. Two more to go. I saved the smallest class for last, so it's not as bad as it could be. Still, I kind of don't want to do any more at all.

I think I have earned a break. People, you must start posting so I can take a break!

Oh, and speaking of cooking and such, I made a yummy batch of homemade chili last night and slow-cooked it until this morning. ND and I ate it for lunch. Le YUM!

the instruction manual skipped a bunch of stuff - but I found an online one that is ... better. Since we now have two tilts all I wanted to do was change the background so mine looks different... that done ...now to see if I can find a decent ring tone... but I want buffy back....

I have to whine for a bit

Whine away, my friend. New technology is tricksy.

but I want buffy back....

with ya there

Also on the new phone annoyance. I've had mine forever and still only use a few features. No time to learn how to do stuff.

I'm working. It seemed like a good plan to do stuff I normally do in the morning tonight. Good thing I did since there was a lot more to do than I anticipated.
