you get custom made, top notch foley effects! Dude!!! :: envy ::
yeah, that part is killing me, too.
I really want a brownie or something chocolate. There is nothing chocolatey in the house and I just do not feel like getting dressed and driving back to town in search of something reasonable.
It is fun. That's certain. I'm also getting music recorded by a 60+ piece orchestra for this show. It's rough.
The building called the fire department and police all on it's own though so we were good.
Building: Hi, this is 1011 Smith Street. I seem to be on fire.
911 Operator: Okay, what is your name?
Building: 1011 Smith Street.
911 Operator: Yes, I have your address, what is your name?
Building: 1011 Smith Street. This is the building.
911: I need your name
Building: Look, can you just send someone? My alarms are going off, and I need to get back to the people. My name is 1011 Smith Street. I'm made of brick, I have 7 floors AND MY ALARMS ARE GOING OFF.
911: Sir, I can't send a fire truck until I have your name.
Building: For the love of Frank Llloyd Wright!
911: So your name is Frank Wright?
Building: yes, fine, call me Frank. You'll have to excuse me, my sprinklers are upset that they're not allowed to go off yet.
t, sadly we weren't celebrating, so they're probably safe. Although, we do have half a gift certificate left...
Oh, yay! Looks like my Mexican telenovela is all on YouTube! Fantastico!
Avatar fans: Do you know when it starts up again? Also, I've heard rumors that this will be the last season. Have you? I can't imagine since they'll still have one nation left after this year!
I should also look at javachik's photos from when she was here.
I am still completely pissed at myself for not taking pictures of FUN NIGHT AT SOX's with SOX, Mr. SOX and d!!!
Clearly you just have to come visit again!

I shall. And Steve will want to come back out - he is still talking about your awesome dinner table massage skillz.
My office building just had the fire alarms go off. Man, they are LOUD.
glad you're ok d!
man, at Loyola, the fire alarms were loud ANK-ANK-ANK plus strobe lights. Strobes. The course I taught was in the dorm wing. 4 times in 3 months, I had to call friends to come pick me & car up because my migraine was so bad I couldn't drive see. bad.

I so want photos of this night - it was fun! we loved doing it. We can re-stage it... or draw cartoons? something?
heh. Mr. Sox. he's not going to enjoy that. whee.
ok. so - releasing ma #1. With much gratitude and thanks to everyone. The Baltimore house, she is sold. We will miss her greatly. We wish things had been different. But we are grateful for the opportunities that we have now. RIP first house and all the things we built. and lazy realtors? we could go on for days. Sending all of our realtor sporks to Cashmere. We weren't at the closing (good because I would have bawled) and about 2 hours after, I had to text "realtor #1" to see if the 'deed was done'. His response? Oh yeah - I was going to call you in the morning. Congrats! tell all your friends.
pffft. you can be sure that I will.
former house picspam (any built-ins, upholstery, totally ours, also the kitchen and bath. the sale price? not what you see. or close.): link. (will dissipate in an hour) also? all that crappy copy? and the typos? not. mine.
