It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Clearly you just have to come visit again!

Clearly you just have to come visit again!

I shall. And Steve will want to come back out - he is still talking about your awesome dinner table massage skillz.

not your mom's socks.

My office building just had the fire alarms go off. Man, they are LOUD.

glad you're ok d!

man, at Loyola, the fire alarms were loud ANK-ANK-ANK plus strobe lights. Strobes. The course I taught was in the dorm wing. 4 times in 3 months, I had to call friends to come pick me & car up because my migraine was so bad I couldn't drive see. bad.

I am still completely pissed at myself for not taking pictures of FUN NIGHT AT SOX's with SOX, Mr. SOX and d!!!

I so want photos of this night - it was fun! we loved doing it. We can re-stage it... or draw cartoons? something?

heh. Mr. Sox. he's not going to enjoy that. whee.

ok. so - releasing ma #1. With much gratitude and thanks to everyone. The Baltimore house, she is sold. We will miss her greatly. We wish things had been different. But we are grateful for the opportunities that we have now. RIP first house and all the things we built. and lazy realtors? we could go on for days. Sending all of our realtor sporks to Cashmere. We weren't at the closing (good because I would have bawled) and about 2 hours after, I had to text "realtor #1" to see if the 'deed was done'. His response? Oh yeah - I was going to call you in the morning. Congrats! tell all your friends.

pffft. you can be sure that I will.

former house picspam (any built-ins, upholstery, totally ours, also the kitchen and bath. the sale price? not what you see. or close.): link. (will dissipate in an hour) also? all that crappy copy? and the typos? not. mine.

Wow, Sox, I can see why it would be hard to leave that place. It's gorgeous.

This is fun and all, but I just want to go home and spend an evening with Kristin.

Sox, lovely place for certain. Your new place is really beautiful and charming, too. You should have gotten your asking price.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm at work. I just read (on snopes) that tonight between midnight and 1 is one of those times where many conisder the veil between this world and the next to be thinnest, allowing ghosts to be seen or maybe even for one of us to be pulled through to the other side.

Last Saturday when I walked into a theatre to do my final check at the end of the night, I looked at my watch, saw it was just turning midnight and said aloud, "it's the witching hour". At that exact moment my flashlight broke and the batteries fell out onto the floor.

I reallly hope we're done before midnight tonight.

Are you stuck there, Drew? I tried texting, but I think you must be away from your phone. I have leftovers that I may eat if you think it's going to be awhile. I'm starving.

Coffee: Sox, I'm so sorry you had to sell a house you loved. In the misery-loves-company department, when I separated from my DexH, I made the choice to leave the dream house that we'd designed and built from the ground up. It really hurts to leave a place you've put your heart and soul into, no matter how practical the reason. {{{you}}}

Laga, if the fridge in your break room starts smoking, back slowly away and do not under any circumstances say you are the Key Master.
