Now I am sitting around in a tie waiting for the dress rehearsal of the student one-acts.

KT, I hope they go OK. I'm in production on the Spring Show right now and kids are working on a couple one acts, a talent show, a car show and several car washes. (yeah, we are raising money for the spring show and State Thespian festival)

...except for my two baby goths, who showed up wearing hot pink and rainbows. (I nearly peed myself.)

Me too! I love when the boys have theme days at school. It even makes the car pool lane more fun.

Is that the one where Rupert Neve signed the mixing console? took me forever to figure out who it was. The whole time being "what idiot sharpied the mixing console?" Oh! The guy who made it. Cool!

It might be, it's a Neve in this room. It's their big room and Sinatra used it all the time. I've not taken a close look at the console, I'm sitting at the producer's table for all of these sessions.

holy boy I just met the guy who, along with his brother would like to rent our room. He is beautiful and his brother competes in mixed martial arts. I think I may swoon.

We've got a lot of folks in this control room right now and we are really pressing to get through takes so there's not much time to look around.

You know what's pathetic? Not having the energy to walk over to the fridge to get my piece of Cheesecake Factory White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle cheesecake.

Hey, ND, I found out this past weekend my brother and his wife are expecting their first child. The baby is due in mid September, of course this is the same time his dissertation is due. Looks like they will be staying in Edinburgh for 3-4 additional months.

John becoming a dad is making me feel a little old! I'm also a little jealous they get to stay in Edinburgh for extra time (and my niece or nephew will be born in Scotland...the motherland!)
