'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

We had no duck, duck, goose, or dog/hog piles in my youth (long, long ago) in upstate New York.

brillig

All of this pales in the face of the great question:

Is it kitty-corner or katty-corner?

Art Crawl!!!

duck, duck, goose

(Kindergarten in south Jersey - most of elementary school in Balt.)

I can't recall the use of either dogpile or hogpile when I was a child.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

And then they pluck and eat some poor kid who can't run fast.

I'm flashing on the Treehouse of Horror episode where Principal Skinner and the lunchlady turn the kids into food. "You could say there's a little Utter in all of us!"

Is it kitty-corner or katty-corner?

Catty-corner.

And Pussy Galore.

upstate New York

This may explain things. One of the pre-60s guys grew up in NYC and another grew up in Oakland, CA. Maybe it was a regional game at that time?

Kitty-corner, of course cause it's SUGAR!!

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Hugh Jackman at the beach, sure brightened my day, sumi. Thanks!

KristinT...I am so jealous!!!!!! Hope you and ND have an amazing time. I miss you both!

ND, I think you could get away with a pirate-walk-the-plank plan. Heck, I'll come and help you.

The weather here is awful! We are under a tornado watch or warning and a severe thunder storm watch or warning. Temp is supposed to drop by more than 20 degrees overnight. DH is on midnight shift and it's looking to be a bad night for him (a couple power plants on the other side of the state went off line).

Yea...happy birthday to me.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Happy birthday anyway, GG. We have the same weather here. I discovered this morning at about 6 that apparently I need a dog to warn me about tornadoes. When he started pawing on the bed, I woke up and the storm really did sound like that freight train tornado victims are always talking about. There are trees down all over, but fortunately, none of mine. Plenty of big branches, though, and things keep hitting the house.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Born 1956 and played duck, duck, goose in Milawaukee.

Those older folks who hadn't heard of it? Obviously aliens trying to pass.
