Sadly, no, in Massachusetts.
I had a friend who bought Absinthe via mail back when it was illegal in this country, so it CAN be done. Not sure how though. And I saw an article in a Boston periodical recently that mentioned Fernet, so I think it may be more available than it was previously. It might be a thing that restaurants have easier access to, though.
