Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How dare you! I am fully awake, madam. FULL-LY awake. Not dressed or washed or moving about or anything, but awake.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm very much awake.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am awake too- I'm writing up my research that will be presented this week! Is hard but exciting.

Mostly lurking...

I'm researching social security and returning to work. Boy, if anything can make your head spin, it's that. I'm amazed anyone keeps it straight.

True, but for the east coasters it is NOON. And the thread was TOO QUIET.

I'm doing more house research online and then we are going shopping and then I fly home. Somewhere in there I should get dressed, I guess.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Buffista Dream Alert:

Last night I dreamt that Teppy was showing me this huge, honking ginormous glittery sparkly choker made of white and blue diamonds with a big shimmery pendant in the middle, that she had chosen as her wedding jewelry. She and The Boy were getting married soon and, while she hadn't picked out a dress yet, she knew that this was definitely The Choker. And, really, it was very impressive, exactly the kind of jewelry you'd fall for and decide to build the entire rest of your outfit around.

"Wow," I said, "it's stunning. It's fit for a queen to be married in!"

"Well," Tep said, "The Boy is ninth in line for the Irish throne."

"Huh. I wonder if anyone ninth in line has ever reached the throne. We should ask Aimée or Susan about that."

So Teppy may secretly be the Queen of Ireland.

Cool dream JZ.

I think you inspired everyone else to nap, hoping to dream such wonderfulness.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

So Teppy may secretly be the Queen of Ireland.

Secretly?!? What do you mean, *secretly*?

Okay, okay. I'm not Queen.

Yet.

The Boy is 100% German on both sides, so he probably won't be taking the Irish throne any time soon.

(Actually, *my* family is part Irish, and our family lore is that, back in the day in Cork, there were 2 McCarthy clans: one was royalty, and one was horse thieves. And we're pretty damn sure, knowing us, that we ain't royalty.)

(No, I have no idea if the "2 clans" story is even true, but it amuses us to tell it.)

I just saw a commerical with Sharon Lawrence "actress and WWF supporter" and thought "why is there a serious commerical about wrestling?"
