Cashmere, that's ridiculous. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this.
Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Omnis, fwiw, I would tell her directly pre-date, because if she is the type of person to cut and run for that reason, I would want to know before I showed up. But I'm a big coward who is very afraid of rejection, so YDateMV.
Cash, I'm so sorry about the realtor. I agree, go trick, choose trick.
ND, I miss you.
Edited because I do know the difference between Sox and Cash, I swear.
Laura is sneaky. Did I wish you happy birthday, beautiful lady? It looks like you had a good one.
Cash, it sucks that you have to deal with this. Definitely choose trick.
I just wish we had video of the day JZ brought the... thing... to be wrapped up and sent to Nicole. The mail guy's face was priceless.
JZ keeeeeeeled me when she impersonated the mail clerk asking if she wanted insurance for Belinda.
Cashmere, yes, go trick. I'd be furious.
Do I make a point of being on the sticks before the date? (clearly still self conscious about this, even at 36)
I am of two minds about this. On the one hand, you should tell her because you don't want to get to like her and have that be an issue. On the other hand, maybe she will get to know you on that date and decide that it doesn't matter. Urgh. I suppose that I lean toward disclosure. Better to be disappointed now than later after you've invested something.
I'm ignorant about the "sticks" status. Are they permanent? Sorry if I am being intrusive. I just had a lot of "experience" with dating sites and would love to chip in but I don't know the circumstances.
Bitch #1: Dad, why in all of tarnation did you think it was a good idea to bring your car to the airport today and then leave for me to park on the street for a week? Mom's car would have made so much more sense--especially since it is a) smaller; b) older; and a c) less expensive model. Instead, now I have to shovel out an even bigger spot for your car and be nervous that it's going to get stolen while you're gone. Thanks.
Bitch #2: Landlord, why haven't you made arrangements to get our steps and sidewalk shoveled? We got like 9" of snow, and there hasn't even been a phone call to see if we need help with the shoveling. And you know what? I'm not doing it this time. I'm recovering from mono, and it's bad enough that I'm going to have to shovel out my car and a space for my dad's monstrous vehicle. I don't have the energy to do the rest. And? The mailman didn't deliver our mail today because of it. Grrrrrr.
Belinda links should be labeled NSFL (not safe for life). t shudder
Hil, what's the solution to that one, using that menu?
Not sure. The point is that it's an NP-complete problem. I might take a look at it a little later, if I've got some time to kill, since I'm kinda curious.
omnis, I usually like to tell people ahead of time because I am a coward about having to deal with it in person, but then again I never really dated before TCG, and with him I let my friend that set us up tell him before we met.
