I joke, but it does suck to have to come out to people like that. You can't just say, "Yeah, me and partner, InsertGirlyNameHere, are doing BlahBlah" without knowing the other person is going WAIT! BACK THE TRUCK UP!

Then you can reply, "wasn't it obvious?" (even if it wasn't)

I'm sipping apple juice. Ate a little bit of mac and cheese, too.
